Mae (Bowen) Hughes, 85, of Marion, Ohio went peacefully to join her loving husband and be in the joyful presence of her Lord, Jesus Christ, with whom she has served for 68 years, on May 7, 2010.

Mae was born in Louisa, Kentucky to the late Hampton and Jenny (Maynard) Bowen on June 14, 1924.

Betty J. Pickett Thomas, age 84, of Claridon, died Thursday afternoon, May 6, 2010, at the Marion General Hospital following a brief illness.

On May 13, 1925, Betty was born in Marion, Ohio, the oldest of eight children of the late Glenn and Mildred (Holland) Pickett.

Billie A. Lewis, 66, of Caledonia, Ohio passed away Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

Roger Allen Wright, age 56, of New Bloomington, died Thursday May 6, 2010 at 5:30 AM at Triumph Hospital of Lima.

He was born May 26, 1953 in Kenton, Ohio to Paul E. and Jean (Reiter) Wright. His father is deceased and his mom survives living in LaRue.

Jonas J. Fields age 83 of Larue, Ohio passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Marion Manor.

Born January 28, 1927 in Ashland Kentucky to Ella Runyun Fields.

Jonas served in all four branches of the service, he fought in the Korean War, the Philippines, and WW II.

Shirley A. Frye age 63 of Marion, Ohio passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at O.S.U. Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Clarice Annette Lease, 95, of Marion, passed away Wednesday, May 05, 2010 at Heartland of Marion.

She was born July 25, 1914 in Elyria, Ohio to John and Lillian (Rusk) deFluiter. She married Charles William Lease on May 24, 1944 in Worthington, Ohio.

John J. Kristof, 88, of Marion, died on Monday, May 3, 2010 at his residence.

John was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania to the late Joseph and Ann (Vargo) Kristof on September 14, 1921.

Harold Franklin Monk passed away Monday, May 3, 2010 at Community Healthcare Center at the age of 89.
