The Marion County Shock Baseball and Softball Club will be hosting the first annual St. Patrick’s Day Spring Sprint 5K fun run and walk on Saturday, March 15, 2014. Registration begins at 7:30am and race kicks off at 8:30am in the Marion Catholic High School parking lot. Awards will be given for first and second place in each of the men’s, women’s, and kids’ divisions for runners.
Interested participants may register online at www.marioncountyshock.org or may obtain a registration form by calling 740-521-9683. Cost to participate is $25 per runner/walker.
The Marion County Shock is a non-profit, volunteer organization serving Marion and surrounding counties. It consists of eight baseball and softball teams for ages eight and up.
