The Elgin community is invited to attend the facility update meeting, hear the latest information about the progress of the new K-12 campus, and get your questions answered. The meeting will be held at the Elgin High School Auditorium on Monday, May 24 at 7:00 p.m.
Architects Fanning Howey, construction manager Turner Construction, new superintendent Bruce Gast, and Board Members will all be in attendance.
Topics to be discussed include:
- Location of facility, including the advantages and disadvantages of different locations
- Regulations required by the Ohio School Facility Commission
- Making the facility as energy efficient as possible
- Process being used to design the new facility
- Financing the facility
- Project timelines
- Process for bidding and using local contractors
- And more.
