Marion Man Appointed To District Elks Position

Brad Smith from Marion Elks Lodge 32 was appointed president/district activities chairman of the North Central District of the Ohio Elks Association. He was passed the gavel from outgoing president Tom Pavlik of Ashland Elks Lodge 1360.Brad Smith, a Past Exalted Ruler of the Marion Elks Lodge #32, has been appointed as the District Activities Chairman (DAC) of the North Central District of the Ohio Elks Association.  The DAC is the president of the district executive board. The North Central District consists of fourteen Elks Lodges in the North Central region of Ohio, and is the largest Elks state district in the country.

The appointment was made at the North Central District spring meeting, which was held at the Marion Elks Lodge the first weekend in May. Smith’s term will run until May, 2011.
