Saturday, June 26, is the 18th Annual Celebrate Summer Festival in downtown Marion. Events run from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. New this year though is entertainment at the Palace Theatre at 7:00 pm.

In addition to the art and kids events, this will be the second year that The Marion Historical Society has sponsored the Antique Car and Truck show which will be featured along Center Street.

All cars & trucks will be pre-1950 and this year highlights brass era vehicles, or those built before 1919. Some antique owners will also be giving rides around the festival route.

The artist’s booths will be in Busby Park, on the corner of Center and Prospect Streets.  All artistic mediums will be represented and available for purchase.

On the opposite corner in the Chase Bank parking lot, Heart of Ohio Mentoring will have free children’s activities.

This year the festival will include live stage entertainment in the parking lot next to Snyder Athletics. This is also where you can find offerings from the nine food and beverage vendors.
