The Marion County Commissioners Thursday approved a contract between the Marion County Engineer’s Office and Kohli & Kaliher Associates of Lima to provide load testing of several local bridges.
The contract, for $33,125, calls for the company to test the County’s seven pony truss bridges along with one high truss bridge.
The initial funding for the contract will come from the County’s motor vehicle and gas taxes. The money will be reimbursed though from the State of Ohio using a federal grant.
