Law Enforcement Exploring is a career-oriented program that gives young adults the opportunity to explore a career in law enforcement by working with local law enforcement agencies. Founded on July 12, 1973, it is a non-Scouting subsidiary of the Boy Scouts of America. The program is available to qualified young adults who are ages 14 through 21.
Every two years, there is a National Law Enforcement Explorer Conference, which includes crime scene processing, traffic crash investigations and role-playing scenarios that law enforcement officers regularly encounter. All proceeds from this sale will go towards the Marion County Sheriff’s Office Explorers trip to Atlanta, Georgia for the Explorer national competition.
