Three Marion City Council Committees will meet on Tuesday, August 17, to discuss topics including vacating two alleys, using compressed natural gas for City vehicles, and various appropriations and transfers.
The Finance Committee meets at 6:30 pm to discuss additional appropriations for the storm water utility and sanitary sewer improvement fund and for the fire department. They will also discuss several fund transfers.
The Streets and Sewers Committee will meet at 6:40 pm to discuss vacating two alleys. The first is between 130 and 146 North State Street, between lots 8 and 9. The second vacation is an alley north of 976 East Center Street.
The Municipal Services, Parks and Recreation Committee will meet at 6:50 pm to discuss using compressed natural gas for City vehicles.
City Council Committee meetings are held on the second floor of City Hall.
