TWIG IV/Marion Board of Realtors recently presented a check in the amount of $4,446 to Marion General Hospital Hospice. The check represents donations received during the annual Hospice Remembrance Tree event, located at Marion General Hospital, Marion Area Health Center, and Marion Centre, as well as the Texas Hold’em project.
The contributions earned by these projects benefit terminally ill patients and their families. Marion General Hospital Hospice provides nurses, aides, pain management and pastoral services to those in need, as well as bereavement services.
Thanks to the continued support of TWIG IV/Marion Board of Realtors, over $282,000 has been donated from TWIG IV’s fundraising events since 1990.
Those who purchased personalized ornaments may pick them up at the Marion General Office & Conference Center, located at 278 Barks Road West (adjacent to the Marion post office), from 9 a.m. to4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
