On Thursday, July 21, at 11:25pm, the Marion Police Department received a 911 call from the General Sales Drive Thru, 450 Jefferson Street, stating that they had just been robbed.
An employee reported being approached by two males, one of which had some type of firearm. The employee was assaulted with the weapon and an undisclosed amount of money was taken.
Both suspects fled the area. The employee refused medical treatment.
The suspects remain at large at this time and the investigation is ongoing. Suspect #1 is a white male, approximately 18-years-old, 6'01"-6'02", 180 lbs. Suspect #2 is a dark-skinned male, mixed race, 6'01"-6'02", 180 lbs.
