Marion Goodwill Industries is proud to announce and welcome Kathy Wink as Marketing Director.
Wink, a Marion resident, brings to the agency more than 20 years of experience in the marketing field. She was formerly employed as the director of sales & marketing for bluefusion entertainment and prior to that she worked as the campaign & marketing manager for the United Way of Marion County.
“We are very happy to have her as part of our staff,” said President/CEO Bob Jordan. “One of the objectives on our strategic plan is having the right people in the right place doing the right things; Kathy is the right person to handle the marketing for our organization.”
Wink is married to husband, David and has a son, Sam. She is a Marion Area Chamber Ambassador, a board member for the Marion Convention & Visitors Bureau and active in the Marion community.
The mission of Goodwill Industries is to assist individuals with disabilities and other special needs to attain self-sufficiency through employment and training, thus enabling them to reach their maximum potential in the community. Through donations to Goodwill, local residents are helping to support their retail stores, which provide job opportunities in their community. Marion Goodwill Industries serves Marion, Delaware, Union, Crawford, and Morrow counties.
