The concert will take place at the Marion Palace Theatre on Sunday, August 26 at 3:00 p.m. with an ice cream social in the May Pavilion immediately following.

Director Ryan Ratliff is a LaRue native, where he began singing at the LaRue United Methodist Church. After high school, Ryan attended The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, Theatre, and Opera Performance, as well as a Bachelor of Music Education. Ryan then headed to NYC. Shortly after taking on the Big Apple, Ryan was fortunate to land the role of Jinx in “Forever Plaid,” before starring as Mark in “Altar Boyz,” both the National Broadway Tour, as well as in New York.
The past four years Ryan was the musical director for the “Unexpected Boys,” a Frankie Valli/Jersey Boys tribute quartet that traveled the world for corporate and social events, as well as guest entertaining on many cruise lines. Aside from arranging and orchestrating for cruise lines, show choirs, and NY actors, Ryan very recently began his own entertainment company, which is still “under construction.”
Ryan issues the following invitation, “This isn’t your Sunday afternoon nap. Come to revive your soul, energy, and toes, while you sit back and sing along, or jump up and dance in the aisles.”
Ice Cream Sunday: Gaither-Style is sponsored in part by Emanuel Lutheran Church, Don & Lannette Davis and Senior Services Insurance Agency/Robert L. Stump.
