There will be a reunion of all Pleasant alumni cheerleaders on Friday, October 5, 2012, at 6:00 pm before the Pleasant vs. River Valley Varsity football game. The game will be played at Pleasant High School starting at 7:00 pm.
Organizer Paula DeLauder Martin says the evening will just be a friendly get-together to “reminisce about our fun days of cheering at PHS” and to enjoy the current cheerleaders and the game. Those attending are encouraged to wear red, black, or both. Martin says that meeting early will give the group time to socialize a little before the game and perhaps enjoy watching the current squad demo their “Hello” cheer.
Martin is also encouraging former cheerleaders to join the Facebook group Marion Pleasant Alumni Cheerleaders for updates and to keep in touch. If you cheered at least one year at PHS, you are eligible to be a member of this closed group.
