On Wednesday, October 31, Elgin South Elementary PTO is inviting the grandparents of their students to their 3rd Annual Grandparents Breakfast. Grandparents are encouraged to attend and have breakfast with their grandchildren and also meet other grandparents.
After breakfast, the grandparents are invited to take their grandchild to the book fair.
A light continental breakfast will be provided, including muffins, donuts, bagels, fruit, OJ, milk, and coffee. Breakfast begins at 8:30am in the room beside the cafeteria, and the book shopping begins at 9:00am.
If grandparents are unable to attend, Elgin is encouraging students to invite another special adult — a family friend, a relative such as an aunt or uncle, or a neighbor.
