The Marion Palace Theatre will show the fantasy/drama film “The Odd Life of Timothy Green.” The movie is about a childless couple who try to bury their dreams of having a child by writing out all the traits their child would have and putting them in a box in their backyard. During a freak storm in the middle of the night, they awake to find little Timothy with leaves growing from his ankles, standing in their kitchen, calling them mom and dad.
Over the coming months, Timothy will teach the couple more than they could have imagined about being parents and raising a child. Running time 105 minutes. Rated PG for mild thematic elements and brief language.
“The Odd Life of Timothy Green” will play at the Marion Palace Theatre Friday, October 5 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, October 6 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $4/Adults, $3/Seniors (62 & over), $2/Children (12 and under).
