Waldo Church Hosting Harvest Celebration

Peace Community United Church of Christ will be hosting a harvest celebration on Saturday, October 13th from 12-4 pm. The free community event will be held rain or shine at the church at 4061 Columbus Sandusky Road South (State Route 98), Waldo, Ohio.

The Harvest Celebration will include a free pulled pork meal, pie sampling, a pie bake-off, children’s activities and a variety of musical performances.

To participate in the pie bake-off, please bring pies (2 pies preferred for judging and tasting) to the church between 9-10:30 am, and no later than 12:30 pm, on October 13. Categories will include “People’s Choice” and “Celebrity’s Choice,” with Marion’s own Charlie Evers serving as one of the celebrity judges. Winners will be announced around 1:30 pm.

Peace Community United Church of Christ is a congregation near Waldo, Ohio that meets Sunday mornings at 10:30 am at 4061 Columbus Sandusky Rd. S. The church seeks to make and nurture disciples for Jesus Christ.
