City Council Committees to Discuss Annexation, Other Items

Three committees of Marion City Council will meet on Monday, November 5, to discuss a variety of issues including fund transfers and the annexation of land owned by National Lime and Stone.

The Finance Committee meets at 6:30pm several transfers within the Fire Department General Fund.

The Streets and Sewers Committee meets at 6:40pm to discuss an application to participate in the Ohio Public Works Commission State Capital Improvement and/or Local Transportation Improvement Programs.

The Zoning & Annexation Committee meets at 6:50pm to continue discussion on annexing a portion of the National Lime and Stone property north of the City. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Mineral Resources Management will be at the meeting to answer questions about the blasting and hydrology of the National Lime and Stone quarry.

City Council Committees meet on the second floor of Marion City Hall and all meetings are open to the public.
