The Marion City / County Emergency Management Office is in the process of updating Marion County’s 2006 Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan. The purpose of the plan it to find ways to mitigate the impact of natural hazards such as wind, snowstorm, flooding, and tornado on county residents and property.
The plan can be viewed at the Marion County Regional Planning Commission’s web site (www.marionohioplanning.org – under the Marion County Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan link).
