The River Valley Board of Education is inviting the public to meet the finalists for the superintendent position. The position opened up after longtime superintendent Tom Shade retired.
“Meet and greet” sessions with the three candidates will be from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 in Room 111 at River Valley High School. The sessions will be moderated by Cheryl Ryan of the Ohio School Boards Association.
Finalists are Fredericktown Local Schools Superintendent James Peterson, Wheelersburg High School Principal Matthew McCorkle and Marysville High School Principal Matthew Chrispin.
The public is invited to take part and provide written input to the school board to help them make their final decision.
