Bethlehem Dance Education and Ministry Arts is hosting “Get Up and Dance Day” at their Marion studio, 645 East Church Street, on February 16, 2013. The day will include a series of mini workshops offering examples of Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tumbling, Hip Hop, Scottish, and Ballroom.
The purpose of this winter workshop is to give area students an opportunity to find out what these classes are like in a fun and safe environment. Sessions offered are for ages 3-10 and 11 and up.
Local artists will be leading the workshops along with student teachers from BDE&MA. The BDE&MA parent association will be on hand to answer questions that parents may have. There will be refreshments and drawings for door prizes.
The workshop day is from 1:00pm to 4:00pm and is free to all, but registration must be made prior to that day. Registration is limited to the first 60 attendees.
