Donation Check Presented to 2013 ATHENA Award Recipient

Lori Seckel (left), financial representative of Modern Woodmen of Marion, recently presented Angie Carbetta, the 2013 Women’s Business Council ATHENA recipient, with a check for $3,200. The money was raised from the silent auction items at the 2013 ATHENA luncheon and was matched by Modern Woodmen.

As the 2013 ATHENA recipient, Carbetta was able to decide which non-profit would receive the money and she chose Make Ohio Beautiful with the funds earmarked for projects in Marion County.
