The Friends of the Marion Public Library are currently collecting good clean books and magazines in preparation for their annual book sale. Books may be dropped off inside the library’s entrance during normal hours of business until May 31, 2013.
The sale will be held on Father’s Day weekend at Tri-Rivers Career Center from 9:00am to 4:00pm on Saturday, June 15 and 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Sunday, June 16.
The Friends of the Marion Public Library member’s only sale will be held at Tri-Rivers on Thursday, June 13 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Memberships start at $5 per person and are available at the library.
Proceeds from the annual sale help support programs and special projects at the library.
