A group of people have come together to “Cover the Hill,” a community prayer event, on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at 2:30pm. Organizers invite everyone to help them cover the hill at the City of Marion’s Lincoln Park.
“The vision behind it is to provide a time and place to invite the entire community of Marion to come together in unity and prayer for the challenges that our community faces,” explained Randy Dawson. “This event is open for all with a heart for our community and faith that our Creator will see our heart and hear our prayers and intercede to heal and restore our community.”
Cover the Hill is not affiliated with a specific church or denomination and is open to all at no charge.
