Pleasant school officials and volunteers are inviting everyone to join them for an evening of “family fun, excellent food, and good company” during the 4th annual Pleasant Community Fall Festival on Saturday, August 24, 2013 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Pleasant High School. In addition to the food and activities, the evening will showcase the students participating in fall high school and middle school sports, youth football, marching band, and show choir.
Food will include chicken dinners along with homemade desserts from the Music Boosters.
A carnival area encompassing the entire high school parking lot will offer activities for all ages. You will see your favorite coach or administrator on the dunking machine or a future Spartan win a prize at the duck pond. There are also many large slides, bounce inflatables, and obstacles courses. You can also take the opportunity to put your favorite teacher, classmate, parent, coach, etc, in jail during the evening.
Wristbands can be purchased for $20 each at the ticket tent which includes unlimited rides and games for the entire evening. Other craft activities will be available at a minimal additional fee.
There will also be a raffle and silent auction and the Pleasant Township Fire Department and Marion County Sherriff’s Office will be there with demonstrations.
The evening is organized by the Pleasant Athletic Boosters and proceeds will go towards supporting school programs throughout the year.
