The Marion Area Chamber of Commerce participated in a ribbon cutting held Thursday, October 17, 2013 at the new Area Energy & Electric, Inc. and Regal Plumbing & Heating Company, 2181 Innovation Drive, Suite 104, Marion, OH.
Area Energy & Electric, Inc. was founded as an electrical contractor in 1983 in Sidney, Ohio. Through 30 years of dedicated service to industrial, commercial and residential customers, Area has grown to a regional company with locations in Sidney, Marysville, Worthington, and Marion, Ohio plus an Indiana location in Greensburg.
In 1999, Area expanded their service capabilities by founding Ohio Valley Integration Services, Inc. (OVIS), a low-voltage contractor offering fire alarm, security, video surveillance, access control, network cabling and nurse call systems services.
In 2008, Area purchased a mechanical contractor, Regal Plumbing & Heating Co., expanding their service capabilities to HVAC, plumbing, piping and fabrication.
Area Energy & Electric, Inc. and Regal Plumbing & Heating Co. will be serving the Marion local businesses and residents for their electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, security, access control, network cabling and video surveillance needs.
