Lynn Clabaugh was selected as the October Republican of the Month at a recent meeting of the Marion County Central and Executive Committee.
A life-long resident of Marion County, Clabaugh is a 1966 graduate of Harding High School. He has various degrees in management and a journeyman’s card from Quaker Oats Company where he was employed until 1977. He began farming in Marion County at that time and still pursues his vocation.
Clabaugh attends the Prospect St. United Methodist Church where he has served on various committees and has gone on two mission trips to Louisiana and Mexico. Community activities include serving on two committees of Regional Planning Commission, and being a member of the Marion Farm Bureau, the National Rifle Association, Marion Masonic Lodge 70, the local Republican Party and a volunteer at the Marion Palace Theatre.
Clabaugh is serving his second term as Marion Township Trustee and is on the November ballot for a third term. He and his wife, Velma, has three grown children.
