The Marion Family YMCA is inviting the public to a free health information open house on December 3, 2013 from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Resources will be provided for those with Arthritis, Parkinson’s and Cancer.
In addition to the information, a free box lunch will be provided by Heartland of Marion.
In order to prepare the correct number of lunches, attendees are asked to RSVP by noon on December 2 to the Y.
Other participating groups will be:
- Marion General Hospital – offering information on cancer screenings and onsite chair massages.
- Aspire Home Health – Blood Pressure Checks
- Walgreens – Flu shots for $24.95 and Medicare participants at no charge
- Marion Senior Center – Information about their programs
- Marion Public Health – Information about Smoke Cessation
- Primrose of Marion – Information about their services
- Red Cross – Information about their services
- Nation Parkinson’s Foundation – David Zid, Founder of the Delay the Disease ( Parkinson’s) will speak from 11:45 – 12:45 pm
