Overly Named Bucyrus Post Trooper of the Year

Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Craig B. Overly has been selected 2013 Trooper of the Year at the Bucyrus Post.

The selection of Trooper Overly, age 25, is in recognition of outstanding service during 2013 at the Bucyrus post. Fellow officers at the Bucyrus post chose Trooper Overly based on leadership abilities, professional ethics, courteous treatment of others, enthusiastic work attitude, and cooperation with supervisors, peers, and the public.

Trooper Overly is now in contention for the District and State Trooper of the Year to be announced at a later date.

Trooper Overly joined the Highway Patrol in 2011 and has served at the Bucyrus post. He is originally from Mt. Victory, Ohio and a graduate of Ridgemont High School.

Trooper Overly and spouse Bethanie, live in Mt. Victory with their children Trenton age 2 and Aubrie age 4.
