Dinner and Auction to Benefit Boys & Girls Club of Marion County

BGC Dinner & AuctionDozens of items and experiences, including a glider ride, appliances, health memberships, driving lessons, and concealed carry classes, will be up for bid at the Boys & Girls Club of Marion County’s annual dinner and auction. Called “Opening Doors…Blue Jean Style,” the fundraiser will include a BBQ dinner along with silent and live auctions and a live band.

The event will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the Boys & Girls Club, 565 Oak Street in Marion. Doors will open at 6:00pm.

Tickets are $30 each or 2 for $50. All proceeds from the evening will go towards continuing the Club’s mission of protecting and empowering the youth of Marion County.

New auction items are constantly being added to the event, including:

  • Family membership to the Marion Family YMCA
  • Driving lessons from Ace Driving School
  • Tuition at Ohio State Marion
  • Concealed Carry Classes from Gref Perry
  • Private wine tasting from Shamrock Vineyard
  • Kitchen Aide Stand Mixer from Whirlpool
  • Original painting by local artist Ben Kern
  • Handmade wooden chest from Mike Makowski
  • Day on the radio with WMRN’s Jeff Ruth
