The Ohio State Marion Social Work Club will host a 5k event on April 5, 2014 to raise funds for Royal Family Kids Marion, a camp for Marion foster children. Those who register before March 22 will receive a $5 discount.
“Join us for a fun community event, visit with sponsors and hear more about Royal Family Kids, a camp designed for foster children to receive a week of positive memories,” said Elizabeth Moore, one of the organizers.
The walk/run will be held at The Ohio State University at Marion, 1465 Mount Vernon Avenue, with registration opening at 7:30 am and the start at 9:00 am.
Pre-Registration through March 22 is $20. After the Pre-Registration it is $25. All college students receive a $5 discount.
