Marion County Auditor Joan Kasotis is reminding property owners that the deadline to file for Board of Revision (BOR) is 4:00 P.M. on March 31, 2014. Owners who feel the combined value of their land and buildings is different from the appraised value on the auditor’s property cards may file a BOR form.
Evidence should also be included when the form is turned in. This is to show a suggested, new value of their property according to the owner. These will be reviewed for possible adjustment or a formal hearing in the presence of the Board of Revision members.
Forms may be printed from the Auditor’s website or picked up at the Auditor’s office at 222 W. Center St., Marion, OH.
