The Marion County Board of Elections will be conducting Logic and Accuracy Testing (L&A) of the voting equipment used to conduct absentee voting on Thursday, March 27, 2014.
An L&A test is a systematic pre-election test of every ballot style and every component of the voting system. The test is conducted to demonstrate that the ballot is accurate and that votes cast will be properly tabulated.
The public is invited to witness the L&A test. The test will begin at 9:00 a.m. in the Board of Elections Office, 222 W. Center Street, Marion.
Any questions concerning the test may be directed to the Board of Elections at their office or by calling (740) 223-4090.
