Marion Public Health, in conjunction with OhioHealth Marion General Hospital, will offer a free Tobacco Cessation Program at the Ohio State University at Marion beginning Thursday, June 19, 2014 and continuing every Thursday through July 24. The program is open to the public.
The program consists of six small group sessions. Topics include:
- Health benefits of tobacco cessation
- Barriers to quitting tobacco
- Behavior changes
- Stress management techniques
- Nicotine replacement options
The class will be held in the Alber Training Room (Maynard Hall, Room 125) from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm. This session is open to the public, but seating is limited.
