On July 22, 2014, shortly after 4:00pm, detectives from the MARMET Drug Task Force executed a search warrant in relation to an ongoing drug trafficking investigation. The search warrant was executed at 870 Henry Street in Marion with the help of officers from the Marion Police Department, deputies from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, and the Marion Police Department’s Special Response Team.
Investigators reported that heroin packaged for sale along with cash were recovered from the scene. Officials did not report any immediate arrests stemming from the search warrant.
The investigation is ongoing.
