Saull Named June Republican of the Month

Marion Republican PartyJune’s selection as Republican of the Month was Margie Saull at the Marion County Central and Executive Committee’s recent meeting.

Active in the community, Margie’s memberships include the Marion County Retired Teachers, George Washington Retired Teachers, Junior Service Guild, local American History chairman and State Celebrate America! chairman of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Mobile Meals and Palace Theatre volunteer, Harding Home tour guide volunteer, life membership in The Ohio State University Alumni Association, and she attends Green Camp United Methodist Church.

She represents Green Camp Township on the GOP Central and Executive Committee, is treasurer of the Marion County Republican Club, and is a member of the local Republican Women’s Club. Margie is a spring graduate of the prestigious Jo Ann Davidson Ohio Leadership Institute.  She was an honorary delegate to the Republican Convention in Tampa in 2012.  Her husband, Fred, and she were co-chairs of the Marion County for the Romney/Ryan 2012 campaign and are currently co-chairs of the Dave Yost, Auditor of State campaign.

A Prospect resident and a 39 year resident of Marion County, Margie a Delaware native and a graduate of Buckeye Valley High School, holds an elementary education degree in 1974 and a Master’s degree in 1979 from OSU.  She retired in 2010 after 35 years in the Marion City Schools and a year in the Buckeye Valley Loclal Schools. The couple has two grown sons, Bradley and Brian.
