Speaker to Explore “Toolkit to a Resilient Life”

Marion General HospitalOn Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 1 to 2:30 p.m., Dr. Teena Long Cahill will present “Your Toolkit to a Resilient Life” at OhioHealth Marion General Hospital. She is married to Lt. Col. Brooks C. Dyer, a former United States Marine Corps fighter pilot and former Capt. with American Airlines who has been disabled for the past 23 years. Col. Dyer will join Dr. Cahill in her talk as she combines science and her personal experiences as a caregiver.

Dr. Cahill, raised in Marion, Ohio, and a graduate of River Valley High School, is donating her time to OhioHealth in gratitude to the central Ohio community for their support and guidance during her formative years. She is the author of “The Cahill Factor: Turning Adversity into Advantage,” and hosts “Wisdom and Beyond,” a New Jersey television show. Along with speaking around the world at large conventions and events, she recently spoke about “Caregiving in America,” as a guest of the Smithsonian Institution.
