Walking Through Grief is a 9 week grief support group offered by Epworth United Methodist Church, 249 East Center Street in Marion. Beginning on Monday, September 8, 2014, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., the group is led by compassionate persons who have experienced the loss of a significant person in their lives.
Using DVDs and discussion, Walking through Grief provides practical tools and advice offered from a diverse group of grievers to help the bereaved on their healing journey.
Epworth’s WTG group is open to all members of the community grieving the death of a close person. Individuals need not be a member of Epworth or any church to participate. Topics will include a Journey from Hurt to Hope, Is it Grief or Depression? and Handling the Holidays.
