Marion City-County Retired Teachers Association (MCCRTA) will meet Monday, October 6, 2014 at noon for lunch, followed immediately by a program at Country Gatherings, 1775 Marion-Waldo Rd.. This year’s Superintendent’s School Report program will feature Bruce Gast, who will discuss the Elgin Local Schools’ new building and school programs. In addition, Jim Cain , representative for Association Member Benefits Advisors (AMBA) will give an updated report on benefits that Ohio Retired Teachers Association (ORTA) members are eligible for.
The fall membership campaign is in progress for MCCRTA‘s nearly 260 members. The MCCRTA/ORTA annual membership renewals and new member dues may be paid ($40) at the meeting or mailed to the treasurer, Pat Lynch, 1065 Barks Rd. E., Marion (740-389-5350). Checks should be made out to “MCCRTA“.
