Retired Teachers to Install New Officers for 2015-17

Marion City-County Retired Teachers Association (MCCRTA) will meet Monday, November 3, 2014 at 12:00 noon for a buffet lunch ($14 for those who have made advanced reservations), followed immediately by a program at Country Gatherings, 1775 Marion-Waldo Road. This is the last meeting of the fall season, with the next meeting set for Monday, March 2, 2015.

The program will feature inspirational music performed by the “Grace Notes” to pay homage to the memories of the past year’s deceased educators. In addition, past president Jean Reas will conduct the installation ceremony for officers elected for the 2015-2017 term.

New officers elected at the October MCCRTA meeting include:  President – Joe Catera; President Elect – Fred Saull;  Vice President – Dennis Swartz; Recording Secretary – Linda Aufdencamp; Asst. Recording Secretary -Monica Granger;  Treasurer – Pat Lynch; Asst. Treasurer – Pat Dean; Corresponding Secretary – Pat Baldinger; Asst. Corresponding Secretary – Peggy Hafer.

The fall membership campaign is coming to a close for MCCRTA‘s nearly 260 members. The MCCRTA/ORTA  annual membership renewals, and also new member dues, may be paid ($40) at the meeting or mailed to the treasurer, Pat Lynch, 1065 Barks Rd. E., Marion (740-389-5350).  Checks should be made out to “MCCRTA“.

December 1 is the deadline for paid members to be included in the annual membership directory.
