The Marion Police Department is investigating a shooting on Mary Street that sent one person to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
On Sunday, November 9, 2014 at about 2:57am, police received a call of shots fired at 389 Mary Street. Responding officers said they located one male victim with a gunshot wound. The 24-year-old victim was transported to Marion General Hospital before being sent to a Columbus hospital for treatment. Officials say the injuries were not life threatening.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and no other information will be immediately released.
