The MLK Peace and Freedom Committee of Marion County will host its 8th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Peace and Freedom Breakfast on January 19, 2015. This breakfast will be held at the Historic Palace May Pavilion and will begin at 9 a.m.
Not only will regional speech, essay, poetry, and art be recognized, but also the Pillars of Hope recipients:

- Mike Zucker
- Willie Troutman
- Steve Hogg
- James Spiller
- *Special recognition to Linda Richardson
Tickets may be purchased from Tara Dyer, 740-751-8050, and also are available at the Palace Theater for $13.00. All tickets must be purchased in advanced.
