State Representative Dorothy Pelanda (R-Marysville) will be speaking to a group of approximately 100 government class students at North Union High School in Richwood on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 12:30pm to 2:00pm. Students will participate in a mock legislative session where they will learn how to introduce a bill and how legislation moves through the committee process.
“It is my hope that this will provide a great opportunity and an interactive way for our high school students to learn first-hand how government works in Ohio,” Pelanda stated.
High schools located in the 86th House District, covering Union County and portions of Marion County, are encouraged to contact Representative Pelanda’s office at (614) 466-8147 if interested in scheduling a similar event.
