Bettman & Halpin bringing fusion of folk, roots, bluegrass to Five Nights

Bettman & HalpinOhio State Marion’s Five Nights on Campus performance & cultural arts series welcomes the duo of Bettman & Halpin to the Morrill Hall Auditorium stage, Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 7:30 p.m.

Stephanie Bettman is an accomplished writer, singer, and fiddler. Luke Halpin is a renowned multi-instrumentalist musician – a master of the guitar and the mandolin, impressive on fiddle and banjo. Their music is an engaging mixture of folk, roots, bluegrass, and jazz, with memorable lyrics and instrumentation.

All performances begin at 7:30 p.m. in Morrill Hall Auditorium. Doors open at 7 p.m. All tickets are general seating. Ticket prices are $10 general admission, $9 seniors, $8 Marion campus faculty & staff, $4 for all students.

Five Nights on Campus is a performing arts series designed specifically for the residents of the seven-county regional service area of Ohio State Marion and is intended to complement the other entertainment opportunities available in the area. This series features a variety of performance styles, with an opportunity for the audience to meet with artists at a reception at the end of each evening. The mission of Five Nights on Campus is to provide exceptional and diverse cultural and educational opportunities and to encourage the community to be a part of campus life.
