Free seminar to discuss the warning signs of Alzheimer Disease

Memory changes may occur as you grow older, but is memory loss a typical part of aging, or is it symptom of dementia?  It may be part of both.

On Thursday, May 7, 2015, Ronnie Henson, LISW and Certified Dementia Practitioner, will give a presentation on “The 10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer Disease.”

Henson, a social worker with the Marion County Council on Aging, will discuss the 10 warning signs of Alzheimer Disease, the most common form of dementia. She will also give information on local resources available to older adults and their caregivers through the Council on Aging, as well as other local resources.

Printed information on Alzheimer Disease will also be available for those who are interested.

This seminar will be held at the Marion County Council on Aging office, located at 125 Executive Dr.  Suite 102, Marion, Ohio. The session starts at 1:30 pm and is free and open to the public, but reservations are necessary by Tuesday, April 28th.

Call the Council on Aging at 740-387-0401 for reservations and further details.
