The Historic Women’s Club Home will host Ladies Tea with Mary Ellen Withrow on Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. The topic will be “A Day in Washington”, the politics, protocol and parties she was part of during her tenure as Secretary of the Treasury under President Bill Clinton from March 1, 1994 to January 20, 2001.
Refreshments will be served and ladies are encouraged to bring a vintage purse for display and conversation.
The cost is $10 and all proceeds support the philanthropic and scholarship funds of the Historic Women’s Club Home. The home is located at 1126 East Center Street in Marion.
