
4th runner-up Dina Rudd, 2nd runner-up, Tammy Harrison, 2015 Ms. Marion Popcorn Festival Paige Filliator, 1st runner-up Stacie Hines, and 3rd runner up, Christina Nye.
Paige Filliater of Marion was named Ms. Marion Popcorn Festival 2015 during popcorn royalty festivities Saturday evening, August 1, at River Valley High School. She won a cash award, a crown, banner and prize package.
“I’m so excited … and stunned,” said Filliater. “I couldn’t believe it when they said I had won the interview … you always second guess yourself when you are done.” Filliater continued, “I will be so happy to represent this city, which I firmly believe is on the precipice of a revival to what so many people remember.”
Filliater is one of the founders of the Facebook page Good News Marion which focuses solely on the good things – both large and small — that happen locally.
Filliater also took the Popcorn Wear, Evening Gown, and Interview Awards. The founder and CEO of Fred Darling Studio, Filliater resides in Marion with her husband Todd. They are expecting their first child in October.

2014 Ms. Marion Popcorn Festival, Sabrina Cranmer, crowned the newly named Paige Filliater Ms. Marion Popcorn Festival 2015.
First runner up was Stacie Hines, who also captured the People’s Choice award by raising nearly $1,000 towards the pageant. From Waldo, Hines is an income tax account specialist with the City of Delaware. She and her husband, Scott, have three children Courtnie, Caden, and Cloie.
Tammy Harrison garnered the second runner up position, as well as the Photogenic Award. Harrison resides in Harpster with her husband, Joe, and their 3 children, Ranissa, Joseph III, and Christian. She is a production technician at M-Tek.
The third runner up spot was seized by Christina Grace Nye. She lives in Marion with her husband, Steven, and daughter Alaina. Nye is a table operator at M-Tek.
Each runner-up received a banner and prize package. Also participating were:
Mikki Creviston of Marion. She and her husband, Ken, have two children, Samantha and Kenny. Mikki is the owner and an instructor at StudioX.
Melissa Hines and her husband, Paul, reside in Marion with their children Paula, Kelly, Dustin, Katie, and Emily. Hines is an associate teacher at Ohio Heartland Headstart.
Vanessa Callis of Delaware and her husband, Cody, are the parents of Anthony and Lilly. She is a customer account coordinator at XPO Logistics.
Dina Rudd is a registered nurse at Marion General Hospital. She and her husband, Marvin, are the parents of Whitney, Chris, Ryan, Alex, and stepchildren Danielle and Bryant.
Each of the contestants participated in an Interview session, Evening Wear, Popcorn Wear, and an on-stage question.
The scholarships and awards for the contestants were sponsored by The Miss and Ms. Marion Popcorn Festival is sponsored by The Ohio State University at Marion, bluefusion Entertainment, Richwood Bank, Staffing Partners, and Preferred Popcorn.
The Marion Popcorn Festival is the largest popcorn festival in the world with an annual attendance estimated in excess of 250,000 over the three-day festival. Main stage entertainment for 2015 includes Straight On: Heart Tribute Band on Thursday, September 10; country star Rodney Atkins on Friday, September 11, and rock band Warrant on Saturday, September 12. All performances on the Festival’s main stage begin at 8:30 p.m. and are free of charge.
