Four students represented MTC at statewide Leadership Summit

Marion Technical CollegeFour students from Marion Technical College recently represented the college at the Propel Ohio Leadership Summit at The OSU Student Union in Columbus, Ohio. The program is sponsored by Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown and is the first of its kind.

Students from Ohio two and four year colleges participated.

The students selected included:

  • Samantha Akers, Nursing Student
  • Tonya Gordon, Business Management Student
  • Amy Holloway, MTC graduate who earned her Associate of Arts and Business Management in May 2015 and is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree through MTC’s partnership program with Franklin University
  • Stephanie Webb, Health Technology Student

“Congratulations and thank you for accepting this opportunity to further develop your leadership skills,” said Joel Liles, Dean of Enrollment Services at MTC.

“I hope that this betters my leadership skills and my knowledge. One small voice can change history!” said Holloway.

“I am looking forward to this opportunity to represent MTC because I have heard that this event is a great one to be a part of and I am always looking for ways to get involved and try new things,” said Webb.
