The Certificate of Appreciation Award was given to Elder-Beerman for their commitment to their mission. Teresa Veroni, Store Manager, accepted the award. Sims Brother’s Recycling received the Community Partner Award. Paul Omness and Dale Herr were recognized for their service on the board, and several Goodwill retail stores were recognized for their achievements in the past year.

“Goodwill is more than just a well-known chain of retail stores. It’s a tradition, a tradition of donating, recycling, hope, and of growing through community involvement,” said Bob Jordan, President/CEO of Marion Goodwill Industries. “Most of all, it’s a tradition of helping people with barriers to employment gain independence.”
