The Marion Area Safety Council is partnering with the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation and OhioHealth Marion to present a four‐part Health & Wellness series open to all members of the community. Each series will have local experts share information and resources on a key Health & Wellness related issue affecting our community.
Session two will discuss how eating a heart‐healthy diet and maintaining a heart‐healthy weight are vital to the prevention of cardiovascular disease. This session brings together presenters from OhioHealth Marion Area Physicians and the Marion YMCA who will provide education and resources on how to help get healthy foods into your busy schedules, fine‐tune eating habits, and make exercise a regular part of your lives. You may not be able to control all risk factors for heart disease, but healthy lifestyle modifications can have a very positive effect.
