On February 4, 2016, detectives with the METRICH/MARMET Drug Task Force, assisted by the Marion Police Department, executed a search warrant 364 Olney Ave in the City of Marion as part of an investigation into the sale of illegal narcotics.
Arrested in this investigation was Dusty Maag, age 34 of Marion. Maag was charged with Possession of Heroin and was transported to the Multi-County Correctional Center pending the filing of formal charges. At the time of his arrest on Thursday, Maag was out on bond for charges of possession of heroin and cocaine dating from January 26, 2016.
Investigators said that more charges are expected in this case.
MARMET detectives said they seized 45 grams of heroin and 18 grams of crack cocaine with a street value of $10,000
“MARMET continues to aggressively investigate and seek out those which sell poison in our community,” stated Lt. Chris Adkins of the MARMET Drug Task Force. “It is not an issue of if you will be caught but when.”
